Google finally released their payment system. Yea! Paypal is way to expensive. But I doubt it’ll stay that way.
What is MUCH more interesting though is that google has released their Account Authentication API . New and existing applications can use google as an authentication engine when building on google services.

I’m a pretty dedicated GNOME fan, but Amarok blows every GNOME music player away. Rhythmbox and Banshee dont even come close.
The Logitech mouse is pure sweetness. Great range. Awesome touch sensitive scrolling. Works great with Linux (I havent tried to configure side scrolling).

Poas/La Paz Day trip

The day trip to PoÃ¡s volcano and La Paz waterfalls went ok, but had all the annoyances associated with a tour group. We weren’t given enough time to explore anything but the main trails around either area. Also, going to PoÃ¡s during the rainy season seems to be hit or miss in terms of what you’ll be able to see.

We arrived early, and were lucky enough to have just enough sun to burn off some of the fog so that we could see the crater. But it didnt last. On the other hand, trying to drive there myself might have been a challenge. The rain forest lived up to its name. My camera and I both got too wet, but it was a nice experience. A little too ‘tourist’ for me, but nice.

Its simplicity is the best part of it. And its really easy to use. Still a lot of work to be done on my CSS. The gallery and project pages are barely started. And I still need to backport my older posts. More to come…..
